Storeperson – Sherriff Infrastructure
Sherriff is an Australian owned Electrical Wholesaler with operations Nationwide.
Due to an internal promotion we are currently looking for a well organised and motivated individual to take up the position of Storeperson within our Sherriff Infrastructure Branch in Townsville.
Duties of this role include; but are not limited to:-
- Manage the Loading & unloading of all incoming and outgoing goods of store
- Ensure regulatory and legislative compliance for all aspects of goods travelling to various sites in the local region.
- Quality assurance and accuracy of receipting and dispatching goods
- Provide leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices and safety conscious behaviour
- Regular cyclical stock takes
- Inventory control
- Delivery Driver
- Working with the sales team to achieve daily branch requirements
- Some local delivering when required
- Can do attitude
To be successful for the role you must have:
- Excellent work ethic.
- Previous experience in a warehousing role.
- Knowledge of the practical management of Occupational Health & Safety.
- Understanding of the relevant legislation, including dangerous goods.
- A current valid driver's licence and forklift licence.
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills
