Description
Schneider Electric VW3A5504 common mode filter for bearing current Reduction, 180µH
This common mode filter is an option for variable speed drives of the Altivar range. It is possible to use the common mode filter at the output terminals of the drive, the dv/dt filter, or the sinus filter. Its inductance value is equal to 180µH. It is used as an output filter to obtain bearing current reduction. This filter reduces the RFI (radio frequency interference) of the motor cable and improvement of the effectiveness of the EMC filter for conducted emissions. It reduces the high frequency currents circulating in the motor bearings to help to prevent them from being damaged. It weighs 2.96kg, and its dimensions are 127.5mm wide, 210mm high, and 127.5mm deep. It is designed to improve drive installations. It conforms to IEC 60721-3-3 shocks and vibration class 3M4.
Features:
• Reduce high-frequency current
• Designed for Altivar drives
• Easy to install
